The Queens Own Scale Model Warship Club has lost the pond it has been using for the last 24 years and is seeking a new one.

Unfortunately home construction right next to the pond curtailed our activities there and we are looking for a new one.  We hold events approximately 6 to 8 weekends a year, and are therefore looking for one for occasional & not constant use.  As you will note in our Insurance page, we carry insurance for both the pond owner & for individuals present during our activities.  We are very interested in a long term rent/lease agreement.

Our ideal pond would be approximately 180 x 180 feet (or larger) and at least 18" deep in the majority, plus it would be clear of water growth or we would be allowed to clear it.

Approximately 150 feet of uninhibited perimeter space would be optimal, with parking for about a dozen vehicles (unimproved is OK as long as vehicle access is granted or available).  30 to 50 feet of shoreline access for launching models would be ideal.

A secluded site is the best option; the club would be available to assist in making improvements if desired.
