TECHNICAL VARIANCES

The Ship Certification Committee and Technical Officer have the authority to grant variences to Ship Class Designator, projectile size and other specified requirements when presented documentation that confirms the requested change or variation is within 5% or the required number. (The 5% Tech Variance is as applied to construction mistakes. Examplefor the inspection ofships. If its too short or too wide but with in five percent of 1/72 scale it is considered legal.)

All requests for variances (except construction mistakes) must be made in writing.
