Children of Velgarth

The Official Queen's Own Fanzine

It has long been a dream of Queen's Own to archive all of the material that has been generated by the members who work so hard on their personae. The Children of Velgarth is our attempt to do that.

Each issue of the personae book contains:

Entry titles look like this:

Healer Adept Moonstar of the Eagle Clan Bondbird: Kearie (Marsh Hawk/Northern Harrier) Brought to us by Kendra Renaud, healermoon@gmail.com, of California, USA. Accepted by Queen's Own in March 1996.

or

Herald-Mage Adept Danya Winterborn Gifts: Mindspeech, Fetching, Empathy, Mage Gift Chosen by Terrill Brought to us by Linda A. Malcor, shashtah@gmail.com, of California, USA Accepted by Queen's Own in March 1996 (Herald), July 1997 (Hedge Wizard), November 1998 (Journeyman), June 2000 (Master), April 2002 (Adept).

These titles are then followed by all persona sketches, stories, drawings, maps, costume designs, photos and the like that have been submitted to earn each persona. (Things such as photocopies of CPR cards are not included.)

Children of Velgarth

Send your e-mail request to either Healer Adept Moonstar at healermoon@gmail.com or Herald-Mage Adept Danya Winterborn at shashtah@gmail.com.

Submission Information:

This fanzine accepts:

This fanzine does not contain any subsequent stories, poetry or artwork. Please send these to the other QO-approved fanzines.

Persona sketches, poems and artwork do not require release forms. Personae presented in story-form do. In other words, if you are simply talking about your persona, that's fine. But if you are telling a story about your persona, then you need to file a release.

If you want, you may submit personae materials via e-mail when possible. Send persona sketches, stories, poems and other written text in either MS Word or .txt/ASCII format. You can scan pictures, costume designs, and so forth, and send them either as .jpgs or .gifs. If you do not have a scanner, you can still submit your text by e-mail and snail mail any pictures or other nontext items. If you do not have your text in electronic format, you can snail mail that as well. E-mail submissions for the fanzine to Healer Adept Moonstar.

Please contact Healer Adept Moonstar at healermoon@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Thank you very much and good luck to all.
